Driver Onboarding Policy

This Driver Onboarding Policy outlines the eligibility requirements, documentation, and verification process for drivers ("Partners") joining the Ship It platform.

1. Eligibility Criteria

Minimum age: 18 years
Valid driving license issued by the Government of India
Ownership or authorized access to a registered vehicle
Smartphone with internet access

2. Required Documents

Driving License
Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC)
Vehicle Insurance
Government-issued ID (Aadhaar / PAN)
Bank Account Details

3. Background Verification

Ship It may conduct background verification including document validation and basic criminal record checks where legally permissible.

4. Training & App Usage

Drivers must complete basic training on app usage, delivery workflow, and safety practices before accepting orders.

5. Approval & Activation

Upon successful verification, the driver account will be activated. Ship It reserves the right to approve or reject applications at its discretion.

6. Ongoing Compliance

Drivers must keep documents valid and updated. Failure to comply may result in suspension or deactivation.
